Sanquar is coming along nicely: I've started working on the first front (I think it's the right front) and it seems to be going along ok & I'm working on how to keep track of the decreases & such so that I'll be able to make the other front & back come out good as well...it's nice to be working on less than 40 stitches instead of 270 stitches for a change! My neighbor emailed me this morning asking if it would be okay for her to put her geldings on our property... I hope she does & would be willing to plow up a small section in our front yard for a garden... it sure would be nice not to have to buy zucchini, squash and peppers for a while...I'd plant several other things: okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, melons, basil...LOTS of basil (read: pesto!) and various companions (nasturtiums which hopefully will keep the squash borers away)... I want a smallish garden, maybe 20 or 30 feet square so that it won't be too much trouble to take care of & if we all take care of the weeds & such, things should hopefully go okay & won't be too overwhelming... 2 more days till the next Weight Watchers meeting. I figure I'll go every week for a couple more weeks and then go twice a month... No photos today... I wish I could get a good pictures of the wildflowers, especially the Indian Paintbrush, but the last time I tried, the color was off so I didn't post the photos...
