Oh yeah, I warped up my mesquite Little Stick loom with silk yarn... navy & natural... did the checkerboard lettering warp, only with 8 strands of yarn per section instead of 6... we'll see how it goes. Silk can be a bear to warp with: it kept wanting to tangle, so I had to go slow...also this stuff is on a huge cone & cones don't feed yarn very well. I don't dare put this stuff on a center pull ball for fear of MAJOR tangles...I figure I'll take the loom & my knitting to the boys' swimming lessons & work on whichever suits me at the moment. I want to warp my mini-Stick loom with the pebble weave warp & learn how to do it. I'll use cotton for that. That said, I may find that I love weaving & doing pickup with silk, we'll see...
